Pumpkin

Description

The vegetable is bright orange in color, which is native to South America. In size, the fruits can reach up to a meter in diameter, and weigh more than 200 kg. The whole pulp of the pumpkin and its seeds are used. The peel is quite coarse, so it is cut off before cooking. The first mention of this vegetable dates back earlier than five thousand years BC. Ancient Indian tribes began to cultivate pumpkin. They used the pulp to cook a variety of dishes, the seeds to make butter, and the rough peel was carefully cleaned from the pulp and used as dishes.
