Cauliflower

Description

Cauliflower is an annual spring or winter plant. The root system is spongy, located close to the soil surface. The stem is cylindrical, 15-70 cm high, with horizontally arranged or straight or obliquely upward directed leaves, very often spirally curved. The leaves are from whole sessile to lyre-pinnate-separate, with petioles reaching 5-40 cm in length. The color ranges from light to blue-green and less often glaucous with strong anthocyanin pigmentation.
