Description
Strongly prickly branched multi-stemmed trees, sometimes shrubs, with thin brownish-green shoots, 3-10 meters high. The flowers are white or pink, single. It blooms in early May. The fruits ripen in August-September. A wonderful honey plant and a rootstock for plums. Cherry plum was found in Transcaucasia and Near Asia before our era.
